Our Team

Alain has been an advisor in the investment planning business since 1986 and has spent the last 25 years specializing in corporate and personal investment planning strategies. He works with families and business owners to help build and preserve wealth, specializing in estate, retirement income and succession planning.  Alain believes that working to understand our clients and going that extra mile for them is integral to building a foundation of mutual respect and trust – which he sees as two critical elements to a successful wealth management advisor and client relationship. He wants clients to feel that everything has been put in place so they can rest easy knowing their short and long-term wealth management goals are being taken care of. What distinguishes Alain, is his personalized approach. The clients he works with truly mean everything to him, and many have become lifelong friends.

When Alain finds some spare time, he enjoys entertaining friends and family at home and the cottage. He says you can “think differently” in the kitchen and enjoys experimenting with new recipes that draw on his creativity and desire to always look for that something “extra special” – much like he encourages clients to do when considering their financial present and future. Pereux Wealth Management is a family business and Alain’s wife, Marge Neufeld, serves as Operations Manager. She rounds out the couple’s culinary flair as an outstanding baker.

Mark joined Pereux Wealth Management (formerly Newcombe Wealth Management) in 2020 after spending most of his career with a major Canadian bank. He specializes in investment planning strategies as well as financial and retirement income planning. Working with Alain and the Pereux Wealth Management team, Mark strives to provide exceptional advice and service to our clients. Mark stresses the importance of building trust and wants to work with clients who value advice and want to be engaged in achieving both their short-term saving and long-term retirement goals. He likes to start working with clients as early as possible and believes it’s the little things an advisor does that can make all the difference. 

Outside of work, Mark is a busy dad and hockey and basketball coach for his two young children Dylan and Kylie. He believes showing young people the importance of ethics, fair play and commitment as well as managing diverse needs, is a natural extension of his work life, which can include coaching new investors through turbulent markets and helping them get more informed about their investment options. In both cases, he says, this is about truly looking out for someone’s best interests. Mark, his wife Kristen and their two children also enjoy escaping to the family cottage in the Whiteshell.

Dana handles all of the wealth administration duties, which includes ensuring transactions are completed to the letter and error-free. Drawing on over 30 years in the financial services industry, working to the highest level of client service and welcoming new challenges as they arise, are second nature to her. Dana believes that the key to any good business relationship is prompt and reliable client service that goes beyond the customer’s expectations. She enjoys her role at Pereux Wealth Management.

Dana is a busy mom with two sons, Ryan and Colin. The family enjoys getting away to her partner Duane’s farm for weekends in the country.

Marge began her career at a major financial services company in 1986, where she also worked with Alain. During her time there, she had numerous administrative and client service roles, working with many of the clients that are still with her and Alain at Pereux Wealth Management. Marge attributes this to the personal approach they have always taken to working with clients and the professional service and highest standards of client service they learned early in their careers. As Operations Manager, Marge is responsible for overall management of the office and staff scheduling.

Marge loves to bake, enjoys time in the garden at the family cottage, and is also an avid walker and gym enthusiast. She and Alain have four grown children.
